Dynatrace appointed two new directors to its board as part of an agreement with the activist investor Starboard Value.
George Riedel and Dan Streetman will join the board, the AI observability platform said Wednesday.
Riedel brings experience as a chief executive at technology companies, including Cloudmark, a messaging security platform. Streetman is the chief executive of Tanium, a private cybersecurity company.
Starboard Value took a stake in Dynatrace in April, becoming one of the five biggest shareholders and pushing for changes to help boost the stock.
Dynatrace said it plans to continue returning capital to shareholders under its $1 billion share buyback program, and aims to communicate a capital return framework on an investor day later this year.
Dynatrace and Starboard Value intend to engage "substantively" in the coming months, the company said.
