A group of major energy companies is heading to the Lone Star State.
Energy Transfer, Sunoco, SunocoCorp, and USA Compression Partners plan to move their businesses to Texas from Delaware, the companies jointly announced Thursday.
Their redomiciliations would be legally effective on July 6 and considered effective for market purposes on July 13, per New York Stock Exchange guidelines, the companies said.
They join a group of major firms that have moved or plan to move their legal homes to Texas, such as Elon Musk's Space Exploration Technologies and Tesla, Dell Technologies and ExxonMobil.
