Hormel Foods said it agreed to sell its Brazilian operations to food company Zanchetta Alimentos.
The company, whose brands include Planters, Skippy and Spam, said the sale to Sao Paulo-based Zanchetta would allow the Austin, Minn., company to focus on its international strategy.
Hormel didn't disclose the financial details of the sale of the unit, which operates under the Ceratti brand.
The company expects the deal to have a minimal effect on its adjusted fiscal 2026 financial results.
