Neste OMXHEX:NESTE will invest more than €400 million ($456 million) in the maintenance of its refinery in Porvoo, the Finnish biofuel maker and oil refiner said on Tuesday.

The maintenance, which will run between August and October, will have no impact on customer deliveries, Neste said.
Neste said it stores fuel in advance and its distribution terminal will operate as usual.
Neste conducts turnarounds in Porvoo at regular intervals, the company said.
Neste has planned to convert the refinery into a biofuel plant, in a move to exit fossil fuels over the long term.
In 2024 the Finnish company withdrew from an investment in renewable fuel in the plant, citing challenging market conditions.
