Economic data also supported the resilience of the U.S. economy. Tuesday, stock markets rose broadly, but equity markets in Asia are mixed on Wednesday. European inflation is in focus and Meyersson says the indirect effects of high energy prices are likely relatively moderate at the moment. SEB expects the annual rate of core inflation to remain at 2.6%. OMXS30 closed at 3203.22, OMXN40 at 2702.81 and OBX at 1841.35. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
