Swedish defence equipment maker Saab OMXSTO:SAAB_B signed a contract to deliver 16 Gripen E fighter aircraft to Ukraine, with the order valued at about 24.6 billion Swedish crowns ($2.54 billion), the company said on Tuesday.
Saab added the contract includes spare parts and associated equipment. The order will be booked in the third quarter of 2026, with deliveries scheduled for 2029-2030.
