People's Bank of China Governor Pan Gongsheng said on Tuesday the quota for the Southbound Bond Connect trading scheme between Hong Kong and China would be expanded.
Pan said the quota would be increased from 500 billion yuan to 800 billion yuan ($117.72 billion).
China's national foreign exchange reserve would also further increase investment in Hong Kong's markets, he added.
