Romania sold a more than planned 896.5 million lei ($195.42 million) worth of July 2033 bonds and a more than planned 1.37 billion lei worth of 1-Year treasury bills on Thursday, with the average accepted yield at 6.65% and 6.08% respectively, central bank data showed.

Debt managers, who had planned to sell 700.0 million lei of the July 2033 paper, last tendered the bonds in June at an average yield of 6.84%. They had also planned to sell 1.00 billion lei of the 1-Year treasury bills and last tendered similar bills in June at an average yield of 6.11%.
