Slovenia's consumer prices rose 3.6% annually in June, unchanged from the previous month, while they rose 0.8% month-on-month, the country's statistics office said on Tuesday.

The biggest contribution to annual prices came from higher housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuel costs, while the monthly increase was driven mainly by a jump in package holiday prices.

  • Housing, utilities and fuel prices in June rose 9.9%, contributing 1.2 percentage points to annual inflation.

  • Transport prices were up 4.7%, adding 0.7 percentage points.

  • Package holiday prices jumped 16.7% from May, adding 0.7 percentage points to monthly inflation.

  • Service prices grew 5.0% annually, while goods prices increased 2.9%.

  • Non-durable goods prices rose 4.6%, while durable goods prices fell 0.8%.

  • In the first half of 2026, prices rose 3.5%, compared with 2.6% in the same period last year.
