South Africa's fuel prices will fall in July as global crude oil prices have eased, the government said on Tuesday.

The regulated petrol pump price will fall by up to 201 South African cents a litre from July 1, while the wholesale diesel price will fall by up to 359 cents a litre, the petroleum department said in a statement.

The fuel price drop comes despite the phasing-out of tax cuts aimed at cushioning the impact of the Iran war on households and businesses.
