Spanish retail sales rose 1.3% in May from a year earlier on a calendar-adjusted basis and excluding the effects of inflation, after rising a revised 0.6% in April, the National Statistics Institute (INE) said on Monday.
The April figure was revised down from a preliminary increase of 0.8%, INE said.
