The Shangai Composite Index went up by 17 points or 0.44 percent on Wednesday to close at 3830 points.

The rise was led by BAIC BluePark (9.96%), Fuyao Glass Indu (4.90%) and Poly Real Estate (3.97%).

On the downside, the weakerst performers were China Life Insurance (-2.31%), Petrochina (-2.07%) and Bank Of China (-1.48%).
