Thailand's exports are expected to rise by 8% to 10% this year, the National Shippers' Council said on Friday, raising its forecast from a rise of 2% to 4% made in January.

The forecast was a base-case scenario, the group said in a statement.

In the first five months of 2026, exports, a key driver of Thailand's growth, rose 17% year-on-year. Exports increased 12.9% last year.
