Thailand's parliament began a three-day debate on Monday to discuss the government's 3.788 trillion baht ($115 billion) budget bill for the 2027 fiscal year, which lasts from October 1 this year to September 30 next year.

Here are the proposed allocations, according to documents published by Thailand's budget bureau.

  • Social opportunity & equality: 960.9 billion baht, 25.4% of total spending.

  • Public administration reform: 676.3 billion baht, or 17.9% of the total.

  • Reserved government operating items: 646.5 billion baht, or 17.1%.

  • Human resource development (education, public health): 611.2 billion baht, or 16.1%.

  • Security: 407.2 billion baht, or 10.7%.

  • Competitiveness (transport, logistics, agriculture): 348.4 billion baht, or 9.2%.

  • Environmental quality: 137.5 billion baht, or 3.6%.
