Venezuelan interim President Delcy Rodriguez said on Friday that she had spoken by phone with U.S. President Donald Trump and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who expressed support for the country after twin earthquakes devastated several areas, killing nearly 1,000 people.“I received a call from President @realDonaldTrump and Secretary of State @marcorubio, who reaffirmed the support of the United States government at this difficult moment for Venezuela," said Rodriguez on X.
