Trump Media & Technology Group Corp. NASDAQ:DJT, President Donald Trump's media company and the operator of Truth Social, plans to charge traders and investors for real-time access to posts published by the platform's highest-ranking accounts. The new licensed data service, known as Truth API, is expected to launch next month and will target financial-services organizations, including high-frequency and algorithmic trading firms that rely on rapid access to potentially market-moving information. Trump has frequently influenced global markets through social media posts and currently has Truth Social's largest following, with 12.9 million users, while other White House officials also maintain significant audiences on the platform.

Trump Media's interim Chief Executive Officer Kevin McGurn said the service is expected to become a meaningful source of revenue for the company. However, Trump Media did not disclose how much customers will pay or specify how much earlier subscribers could receive posts compared with other Truth Social users. Investors may view the service as a potential way for Trump Media to monetize the speed and financial relevance of content published by prominent political figures, particularly as trading firms increasingly depend on immediate information to guide automated market activity.

The launch represents another expansion beyond Trump Media's original Truth Social business, which was its main product when Trump returned to office. The company has since introduced several ventures, including a sports-betting prediction market, virtual-asset accumulation, and funds focused on security and defense, energy security, and real estate in Republican-led states. Trump Media has not yet generated an annual profit, making the potential contribution from Truth API particularly relevant for investors, while Trump remains the company's largest shareholder through a trust managed by his son, Donald Trump Jr. The company is also one of the largest components of Trump's fortune, which is valued at $7.9 billion by the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
