Trump Accounts, the Trump administration's investments accounts for children, will automatically route contributions into a State Street exchange-traded fund and include options for alternative ETFs, the U.S. Treasury said.
All contributions to the accounts when they are launched on Saturday will be put towards a State Street ETF that tracks the performance of the S&P 500 index.
Other options for investments in the accounts will include two BlackRock ETFs that track the S&P 500 and S&P Total U.S. Stock Market indices, one Vanguard ETF that tracks all U.S. equities, and an additional State Street ETF tracking the S&P Composite 1500 index.
Those additional options will become available for parents or guardians in the coming months, the Treasury said.
Both State Street and BlackRock have said they will match the Treasury's initial $1,000 contribution into the accounts for the children of eligible employees.
